I am an author, attorney, expert witness, and lecturer living in Burlington, VT. I have written five books; the most recent, American Privacy: The Four-Hundred-Year History of Our Most Contested Right, will be published by Beacon Press in November 2009. In August 2006, I was a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" to talk about about my book The Decency Wars. I have also appeared on a number of other networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, and the BBC.
