  I've came to IBM through MRO Software acquisition and became a IBM employee on January 2007, I went from Localization team to Utilities team to work on a Transmission and Distribution project, writing and executing test cases, building test environments and doing bug tracking activities, after that I've led the quality assurance team on the 5.x to 6.x Upgrade Project. This team had 2 persons in Brazil and one in USA. I´ve worked with Blue Bell, AMGEN and Sorta, all of them customers upgrading their environments. Now I´m responsible for testing automation efforts in Brazil, using Rational tools (mainly Rational Functional Tester) to contribute in the development of a testing automation framework and managing the automation project.

  Working as a Localization Engineer I was able to help Localization team to release Maximo 6.x in languages other than English, solve problems related to bad translation and problems inserted into the software due to bad files from our partners. I developed tools to localization processes using OO Programing, Java and XML that helped decreased the time to generate a build from 2 to 1 week. Set up test environments using Weblogic/Websphere/Oracle/SQL Server. Execution of manual test plans. This team was spread all over the globe with people in Brazil, USA, Italy, Sweden and China. I've worked since the startup of the technology office in Brazil until the acquisition by IBM. I was able to introduced the use o VMware software into the Brazillian office, this helped to control and maintain our test environments.
