Frans van Berendonk’s Summary

As a Flash developer I specialize in dynamic Flash AS3 websites, RIA's and desktop applications. My main expertises are interface design, application logic, visual programming and Flash remoting. Main interests are game development, data binding, design patterns and persistant user-driven webapplications. I have a serious attitude towards code, a lenient one towards people. I tend to have a DRY / KISS style of OOP programming.

  At E-sites in Breda I was involved with the development of everything Flash. My primary goals where to develop full Flash websites and frontend components using E4X and Actionscript. I also implemented open source code libraries in both new and existing projects.

  At Mallens + Markhorst I managed all multimedia productions, created front- and backends for different websites, deployed open source software for low-budget projects, and controlled validity and quality of all in-house projects. My most memorable job was creating frontends for the websites of Oisterwijk Sculptuur, an art-festival featuring international glass artists like Josh Simpson and Dale Chihuly.

  At ScanProfile I worked closely with a commercial design agency (VisuCom) in the creation of misc. printed media. I was closely involved in creating the 2004 annual report for Philips, mainly in the field of image manipulation and digital markup. ScanProfile shared a building with both Visucom and Pharos Multimedia, for which I did various HTML / CSS / Flash designs and implementations.
