KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Managed up to 20 professionals at a time, including Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Technical Services Engineers, Systems Engineers, an Operations Manager and Helpdesk staff.

Led the design and development of the company's core application platform, which drove over 50% annual year-over-year revenue increases on multiple occasions during my tenure and scaled to process several million direct mail touches per day.

Supported sales and implementation of the platform at dozens of Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T, Lowe's, Marriott and Best Buy.

Managed a team of engineers in five states and overseas to build a graphically rich browser-based video production application.

Implemented a proprietary agile development methodology, a new release process, a hierarchical requirements/bug tracking system, and an incident management process that are still in use five years later.

Wrote production code (both user interface and server-side) for the company's personalized online video/advice product line, used by Discover Card, Sears, Carnival Cruise Lines and Nike.

Managed software engineering, testing, and operations of the "Action Tracker" which delivered realtime data, results, commentary and images of the Sydney Olympic Games to NBCOlympics.com, making NBC the first place on the web to show results from Sydney, and resulting in a screenshot of the application appearing in USA Today.

Managed the development and operation of similar realtime data and media systems for the official web sites of CART (open wheel auto racing) and MotoGP (motorcycle road racing).

Guided the selection, customization, and implementation of the company's digital media asset management platform.
