COSMIC: “Near Real-time” and “Mission and Safety Critical” middleware technologies and solutions in order to insulate software components and applications with multiple dependability requirements, for example Flight Data Processing Applications and Air Traffic Management Systems.
In this period I have review and studied in depth, the principles arguments of informatic engineering and I have analyzed features of some middleware (CARDAMOM overview, OMG DDS and OMG CORBA standard and middleware as RTI DDS, OpenSplice, OpenDDS ) and I have developed a simulation tool of DDS middleware, for performance evaluation in LAN e WAN scenarios.
