Deane Rimerman’s Summary
The rapid growth of new communication technologies is currently my primary field of study. My objective is to find new ways to efficiently integrate these new communication systems into pre-existing systems.
I'm especially interested in developing cell-phone based watershed monitoring applications which will empower the world's forest and water protection activists with a credible data gathering tool, as well as a more influential online voice.
My top three career goals: 1) effective global online eco-organizing, 2) a traveling multi-media eco-advocacy education and training seminar road show, and 3) greater opportunities to apply my existing communication research skill-set towards the earning of a PHD in the field of study that my employer most requires.
