Fireball Tim Lawrence’s Summary
Touted by Autobytel at "America's Best Car Designer," Fireball Tim Lawrence was educated at Pasadena's world famous Art Center College of Design (Transportation '89). After creating his own Entertainment Minor and paving the way for future film vehicle designers, Fireball Tim went on to develop Corvettes for GENERAL MOTORS ADVANCED CONCEPT CENTER and vehicles for NISSAN INTERNATIONAL, as well as to design theme parks and vehicles for DISNEYLAND’S futuristic "New Tomorrowland" and "The Indiana Jones Ride." Other projects include the "Jurassic Park Ride" for UNIVERSAL STUDIOS and Steven Spielberg's Dive Restaurant. From there, he was called upon by some of the greatest directors in the film industry to envision designs for over 50 films and hundreds of commercials including SON OF THE MASK, ESCAPE FROM L.A., PITCH BLACK, JURASSIC PARK, THE CORE, X-MEN, STARSHIP TROOPERS, CLOCKSTOPPERS, IMPOSTER, MIMIC, MOUSE HUNT, INDEPENDENCE DAY, TWISTER, MARS ATTACKS, SPEED, THE MONEY TRAIN, BATMAN, TIMECOP, and GONE IN 60 SECONDS. He is also responsible for the All Star Vehicles for the hit TV Show “MONSTER GARAGE,” and the MINI PURSUIT for Speed Channel's "STREET TUNER CHALLENGE.
He is also currently the host for the world's most popular Automotive Internet Buying site, Myride.com with shows like "WORLD OF CARS" and "AUTO DISSECTION." The most popular shows on the web and has a deal with the Premiere Movie Car Build Company, CINEMA VEHICLE SERVICES, to design and build movie cars and Limited Edition Movie Inspired MINIS.
