As public validation of my role in concepting, designing, selecting, implementing, and overseeing the development of the SAP Developer Network blog, forum, reputation and wiki systems, Sandy Kemsley, a blogger for ebizQ and writer of "The Insider's Guide to Business and IT Agility" states from the 2007 Enterprise 2.0 Conference: "Not for the first time this week, I've heard SAP's developer network used as a great example of using blogs and wikis with their external community." http://www.ebizq.net/blogs/column2/archives/2007/06/enterprise_20_c_11.php

In 2005, under my leadership, the SDN (SAP Developer Network) forums exploded from 260 to over 1,400 posts per day — a 525% increase in member participation -- at the same time we reduced the median time to first reply from 12 hours to below 30 minutes. In 2007 we crossed the 5000 post per day mark.

I introduced community blogging in 2003 which to-date is the most visited area within all of SDN. It is one of the elements that opened up SAP made us more responsive and brought our ecosystem of developers, customers and partners closer together.

In 2004 I received the “SAP Labs America Employee Category: Passion” award for my dedication and commitment in the SDN community.

In 2005, I received a U.S. Patent for the invention of the Traffic Monitoring System that uses cell phone signals and triangulation to calculate an accurate account of the current traffic situation on any major road.

Founder and host of the Bay Area Future Salon, a group which explores accelerating change in technology, science, society and business and hosts such distinguished speakers as Doug Engelbart, Jaron Lanier, and Cory Doctorow. http://www.futuresalon.org
