My paintings are simple, yet there is always more than meets the eye. I paint; the painting is a journey unto itself. Enjoy the journey...
Beth Cornell was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania but traveled long and far to arrive at her current residence in Surprise, Arizona. Along the way, she faced challenges and made decisions, all of which shaped who she is as an artist today. A self-taught painter, her extensive background in graphic arts has given her an acute awareness of the power and nuances of color, an awareness that she uses to dramatic effect in her work.

"Short of a gun to the head, a greater threat to First Amendment expression can scarcely be imagined." Judge J. Nicholas Colabella
Park West Gallery served Fine Art Registry and its CEO with a second lawsuit today—this time in the state of Florida—the same exact allegations of defamation and slander mind you—but a second lawsuit nonetheless. Why? Solely to harass, intimidate, and attempt to stop Fine Art Registry from continuing to investigate and report the truth.
Over the course of the last year, our investigative efforts have made it abundantly clear that Park West Gallery makes litigation part of its business model--abusing the Court system and using it as its legalized torture chamber to bully and strong arm individuals, businesses and anyone that dare speak out against its untoward business practices.

John Pacenti
Daily Business Review
July 28, 2008
Sarasota, Fla., real estate agent David Bouverat resisted buying art for most of his cruise. But he ventured out after dinner toward the end of his Baltic Sea voyage with a few drinks in him and viewed art for sale by surrealists Joan Miro and Salvador Dali.
He ended up buying two works on a two-week cruise aboard Celebrity Cruise Lines' Constellation in June 2007. Bouverat said he was told the print and painting he purchased from Park West Gallery were worth about $15,000 apiece. He paid a total of $20,520.
Once on land, he says he learned the Miro print was almost worthless, akin to poster art. The other piece was a painting of a clown playing a guitar by Anatole Krasnyansky. Bouverat said Krasnyansky appears to work exclusively in a stable of artists for Southfield, Mich.-based Park West, which bills itself as "America's premier art dealer."

Where do the Park West Dali Prints Come From?
In the last article in this series, we covered the fact that two prints sold by Park West, one for around $18,000 and one for over $7,000 were both found by experts to be fakes.
This brings up the question: Where do the Dali prints sold by Park West come from?
The first step in examining this subject is to have a look at what Park West themselves say about the origins of the Dali prints they sell. Each print sold is accompanied by a "Certificate of Authenticity" which describes the origin of the print. These are signed usually by Albert Scaglione, owner of the company, or by Morris Shapiro, gallery director. Many of the prints are also accompanied by an "Appraisal", also signed in-house by one of the above two, usually Albert Scaglione, and also giving a description of the prints or other art work being appraised...
