My first experience with SEO was at the end of the year 2000, when I started to use a web traffic analysis tool. After realizing the key role that search engines played in the generation of traffic, I tried to learn as much as possible about search engines and the "magic" behind the logic involved in their results. In 2000, I created Human Level Communications, a pioneer in the field of SEO in Spain. We have led international SEO projects in Spain and Latin America, such as: the official Spanish tourism portal in eleven different languages, Microsoft’s enterprise portal for Spanish speaking audiences, Caixa Galicia's network of portals for Spain and Portugal, and Venezuela Online Yellow Pages, among many others.
I have co-authored a book with my partner Javier Gosende, Posicionamiento en Buscadores, the first Spanish language book on Search Engine Positioning, published in November of 2006, by Anaya Multimedia. I am a professor of Digital Marketing at the FUNDESEM Business School, the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona and the University of Zaragoza. In addition, I participate regularly as a speaker in national and international SEO seminars.
