Researcher at the NTT Emergent Technologies Lab in a Ubiquitous Network Society project.
Participant in a top-tier program for engineers between the European Union and the Ministry of Industry of Japan (ranked 2nd among 1000 candidates). Intensive training in the Japanese language, industry, etiquette, economy and negotiation techniques at the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation.
I designed and built an intelligent appliance network for a domotic environment with Visual C++ .NET and Matlab. Using specific-purposed sensors, context-aware distributed frameworks, and data mining for knowledge discovery, we developed specific algorithms to analyze human behavioral patterns.

Granted by the European Commission for a 4-month internship in Beatwork, the biggest Application Service Provider and Internet Service provider in the north of Italy.
I was given the task to increase the overall company’s performance to develop websites. Clients complaining for delays in the time planned, budgets being highly increased, and the company incurring in more costs than they assumed initially were problems I needed to solve.
I designed and implemented a dynamic system in asp.net with SQL Server for automated website development and updating, which decreased man-hours to 40% from the first project. Based on a highly flexible template system in XML, separating content and design, it allowed modules to be reused easily for other projects. I was granted by the company to assist the Semantic Web Conference in Crete, Greece.

Senior developer for a B2B internet platform for Proexca, the Canarian Society for Economic Promotion, leader in foreign investment promotion and international expansion assessment.
Confronted with the difficulties the client was having in promoting international commerce among Canarian companies. I negotiated with the client and lead a 5-programmer team that implemented a B2B platform to promote international commerce with the emerging western African market.
The platform was developed with PHP and Oracle, and supported more than 300 e-commerce’s transactions within 5 months.

Executive Board’s President of the largest entrepreneur association in Spain, representing more than 5000 young entrepreneurs. The Spanish Confederation is the largest and most active member of the European Confederation of Junior Enterprises, among 15 other countries in Europe and South America.
Co-managed a 15-member team during one year, assisting 12 international projects which generated a turnover of 140,000€. Developed and idealized a long-term plan to ensure sustainable growth, including the ISO 9001:2000 quality certifications, for which we reengineered the Information Systems to adapt processes.
Conducted a partnership with Altran, European leader in technology consulting. Negotiated specific-purposed management trainings throughout Spain.
