- Worked in mine environment as a physicist working on a major international experiment (Sudbury Neutrino Observatory or SNO), in addition worked at Max Plack Institute (Germany), and worked at the Gran Sasso underground lab (Italy) for 2 years.
- Experienced in clean room environments
- Experienced in many types of nuclear radiation detectors such as Photmultiplier tubes, Proportional Counters, Germanium Detectors, Lucas Cells, Liquid Scintillation detectors, Gridded Ion Chambers.
- Worked for many years on SNO, my work contributed to reducing the level of Thorium/Uranium to a level of 1e-15 g(Th/U)/g.
- Designed and developed novel low background calibration sources
- Contributed to the data analysis to measure the hep neutrino flux from the sun
- The SNO results were judged runner-up by Science magazine as the most significant discovery in 2002, and the American Institute of Physics called it one of the top two physics stories of the year. I was part of this distinguished international collaboration to make this result possible.
