I am a Biologist with PhD in Biomathematics. Throughout the years I have developed considerable experience in developing scientific software in the field of Mathematical modeling.
My main research focus is understanding complex dynamical systems (such as biological and social systems).
My main academic production are in the areas of Epidemiology and social network analysis.
I am a senior Python developer and an active member of the Python Community, both locally (in Brasil) and internationally. As part of my involvement with Python, I have published a book on "Scientific Computing with Python" (available in portuguese).
