Founder and President, Farrell Kramer Communications, LLC [LION]
Greater New York City Area
I devote most of my professional energy to running and growing Farrell Kramer Communications, LLC (www.farrellkramer.com), a public relations firm built on the belief that the power of ideas drives all effective communications.
I began my career as a journalist, spending about 10 years writing and editing a wide variety of stories. I concluded that chapter of my professional life with The Associated Press, where I was an investigative reporter on the AP’s Special Assignment Team. There, I worked on a number of projects including an award-winning, five-part national series looking at illegal child labor in America.
I also served on the AP’s Business News Desk as well as in the news cooperative’s New York City Bureau. Prior to that, I was a financial writer with Investor’s Business Daily. Upon leaving journalism, I joined the public relations firm Robinson Lerer & Montgomery.
In June 2002, I founded Farrell Kramer Communications, LLC.
In additional to my firm's focus on the power of ideas and traditional communications techniques, we are big believers in technology. I am author of FKCBlog and host of the podcast Talking Communications with Farrell Kramer, which focuses on all aspects of communications. My firm recently launched a corporate podcasting service for communicators called FKC Newsmaker Interviews through which we create podcasts for those with news to discuss.
If you are interested in any of these areas, please contact me. Communications is a passion and I'm happy to discuss it anytime.
