I am looking to find a Captain's assignment. I am extremely motivated and fully qualified to International regulations. I believe that my extensive knowledge of numerous geographical areas, along with my professional, language, and social skills, make me an ideal candidate for such a position.
Having sailed all my life & living on a yacht with my parents for a large part of my childhood, enabled me to discover lots of new areas and cultures, and broadened my horizons immensely.
I have over two-thousand hours of Dynamic Positioning experience and years experience of expedition yachting and cruising all over the world, including locations such as Antarctica and the Arctic, Amazon and Orinoco rivers, Great Lakes, Caribbean, Europe and the Mediterranean, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Central and South America, South-East Asia, etc….
I would equally be interested in obtaining a Captain’s position on a new-build project and believe my background in engineering and electricity to be an extra asset for the supervision of such a project.
Additionally, since late 2007, I have worked on consultancy jobs during my time off (pre-purchase surveys, classification & flagging issues, etc...), and have thoroughly enjoyed this side of marine life.
