Adrian Tache’s Summary

I've been in the field of Internet business for a long time, however most of it has been passive participation. Much has happened lately, especially my newfound passion for marketing, that has turned it into an active participation. I run a frequently updated blog now, eydryan.com, which is about online marketing ( SEO, SEM, SMO and online advertising, with a bit of usability testing sprinkled in) and people seem to love it. Visitor growth has been exponential, and people like the fact that I know what I do. My goal is to find partners for my SEO business and create a strong company and brand linked to it.

Adrian Tache’s Experience

  • Web Marketing and Usability consultant

    eydryan

    (Internet industry)

    February 2008Present (1 year 10 months)

I'm working freelance now, writing to my blog eydryan.com, taking care of a few international websites (right now one French, one Canadian and a Romanian blog) and offering Search Engine consulting to those who ask for it. I love this field and I love my job, I enjoy working as my own boss, and I enjoy working on a contract (people have less of a tendency of control over you). I do my job well and people like it.

  • Freelance Photographer

    Freelance (Self-employed)

(Self-Employed; Myself Only; Arts and Crafts industry)

    February 2005Present (4 years 10 months)

One of my passions, perhaps my largest, is photography, and the ability to show every person that there's something nice in life and that all you have to do is look harder... It's been nice, with some clients and a few really interesting jobs, with free admission to amazing concerts with amazing people and the chance to see a world one would usually not have access to. It's beautiful and I love it, money or no money...

  • CTO

    Antic Horologivm (Sole Proprietorship)

(Sole Proprietorship; Luxury Goods & Jewelry industry)

    February 2009May 2009 (4 months)

Was supposed to overview the digital campaign of the company but difficulties in communication with management kept the development at a mostly theoretical level, with just a few failed design sketches actually done and many concepts explored on paper.

  • SEO Junior / Webmaster

    MERCA Business Solutions

(Privately Held; 1-10 employees; Internet industry)

    November 2007March 2008 (5 months)

My part-time job as an SEO and I must say I like it. It's a big hard to untangle what the previous webmaster did to the website before me since there's a lot of variables and a lot of strange code, but bit by bit I understand it all. It's a great job and I'm quite happy that I have it.

  • Photographer

    BRM

(Public Company; 51-200 employees; Investment Management industry)

    May 2007June 2007 (2 months)

As an assignment from my faculty I did my praxis project at the Romanian Commodity Stock Exchange, where I studied the Marketing Department and took photos for various brochures and promotional packages they sent to their customers. It was a nice job, I worked with a great team and learned a lot about design, and that it has its place everywhere, from brochures and blogs to even simple things like documents. It was a nice insight to the workings of a marketing department. However, that was somewhat less ideal for my project, since management was so high up that no one could speak to them in the manner I needed to and all my information was indirect.

  • Call Center Operator

    Conectys Serv Telecom

(Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Outsourcing/Offshoring industry)

    December 2006January 2007 (2 months)

Project-based job, a marketing survey regarding screen-printing done by phone from the call center. A fun job, taught me about how to deal with people, especially difficult people and people who don't want to listen to you without even hearing a word. Also learned about the paranoia of Americans regarding calls. But there have been a lot of patient people who have taken the time to listen to me and overall I've learned so much about dealing with rejection and learning that life isn't always perfect. I've also learned that if you work hard you get rewarded more and that people respect you for it rather than hold a grudge.

  • Photographer

    Newsroom

(Privately Held; 11-50 employees; Media Production industry)

    January 2006June 2006 (6 months)

My first real job as a professional photographer, it was a lot of fun, and I got paid for doing something I love. Unfortunately the pay was rather prohibitive and the job began to go south after a few months when all the gigs turned into photographs of interviews. In poorly lit offices with bored people and with a boss that felt he had to motivate you by making fun of you. It's a shame really, because the colleagues and even my boss, the editor in chief, loved my work and was very pleased with me. Too bad it had to end.

  • Accountant

    The Livingroom

(Privately Held; 1-10 employees; Food & Beverages industry)

    August 2005December 2005 (5 months)

Accounting and Inventory for a small coffee shop and restaurant in the center of Bucharest. It taught me about boring jobs and bad employers but also about the real life example of a business, not the fairy tale I had in my mind. Also taught me to be thorough in my work and to pay attention to detail in every occasion. I also learned how to socialize with my coworkers and see that they sometimes shared my problems and it really has a direct effect on me now.

  • VP of Human Resources

    Boo Software

(Non-Profit; 1-10 employees; Computer Software industry)

    November 2002July 2003 (9 months)

A franchise with Junior Achievement to create, in a limited time frame, a product, from starting the company to developing and marketing the product, a project which was an interesting first experience in the field of businesses.
