High Rho - Alumni Secretary at Epsilon-Upsilon Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha
Tulsa, Oklahoma Area
I'm the Alumni Relations Chair for Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of Tulsa. Currently, we are doing a major push to just get back into contact with as many of our alumni as possible. I'm using LinkedIn as well as Facebook and any other means possible (without paying!) to pursue the goal of a fully updated alumni contact database.
Other endeavors include setting up an Alumni Advisory Board to assist with the undergraduate programming, and initiating an Epsilon-Upsilon Alumni Association to encourage alumni social events.
Current chapter/alumni programming includes putting out a monthly newsletter (the Nexus) as well as a semesterly newsletter (Epsilon-Upsilon Update) to keep alumni up-to-date on the goings-on with the house. Also, we held our first alumni poker tournament in early August as well as the First Annual Founder's Day Alumni Homecoming Banquet on October 12, 2007. Both were a success and helped to bring alumni back into contact with the chapter.
Yours in ZAX,
