Founder & Editor at Mobile Industry Review 3.0
London, United Kingdom
MOBILE:
I'm founder and editor of Mobile Industry Review (MIR) and Mobile Developer TV (MDTV). I'm steeped in the mobile industry -- very well connected -- and very well read. MIR & MDTV feeds are integrated into the intranets of some of the largest players in the space.
DEVELOPER:
I'm really good at web development -- and I'm particularly good at listening to a problem or issue and creating a web portal (for example) to provide a fix. I typically work with PHP and MySQL on top of a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). I'm completely fluent in XHTML, CSS and their related technologies and applications.
VIDEO:
I regularly produce video for Mobile Developer TV and other companies as required. For example I recently created a video for Samsung Mobile demonstrating the features of one of their handsets.
ENTREPRENEUR:
I've participated in -- or, in some cases, founded -- quite a few companies, mostly in the internet space. A good example is Eventscope -- www.eventscope.co.uk -- which provides online networking for the conferences and events industry.
