Background

Summary

(Quick Update: Please don't hesitate to email me at evanjonesca@gmail.com and introduce yourself, but I try to keep LinkedIn "LinkedIn." Hence this COMPLETELY OVERBLOWN BIO.)

Hello there.

In a nutshell: I look at your social marketing, the marketing of your competitors, and your goals and then build growth via organic communication and promotion which increases user engagement and social ROI. I aim to act as a growth catalyst, and I like nothing more than to Make. Cool. Stuff. I build affinity that you can measure.

I specialize in increasing user engagement and audience size through outreach with the ultimate goal of increasing social ROI. As an analyst and consultant, I've also worked at tracking infrastructural changes and market trends, which has allowed me to wear a number of hats and get a thorough understanding of what social media marketing means. Social media strategy and automation remain key tools in my approach to the marketing sphere, as do community interaction and survey analyses.

Dream job? I am interested in writing, travel, technology, and forging new kinds of narratives and communicative models in the online / offline media space. I believe we're always online, connected, and moving, even when the computer / phone / telegraph is off. After moving to LA I completed my master's degree in Online Communities at USC Annenberg's APOC program, where I received several scholarships and commendations. An online portfolio of my work is available at http://yunohireme.tumblr.com/

Lately I have been working as a content analyst and media manager for several video game companies. This has included online and offline events and guerrilla promotion as well. I define myself as a growth wrangler who carries a Swiss Army Knife that's loaded with a variety of social tools, and I'm excited to see what you're up to and how I can help bring you stronger returns on your social investments.

So... how can I help you?
