A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, he was awarded an honours B.A. Moderatorship degree in Modern Languages (German & French) with distinction for his spoken fluency, and later also received a Masters degree from here. He is also a graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland with whom he undertook the Graduateship degree in Marketing, combining his studies with his successful international marketing career. Joe is fluent in German, French and Spanish, and is at ease conducting business in all these languages. Having lived and worked in the UK, France, Germany, Spain & Portugal, he can combine a deep understanding of cultural and business differences with his expert knowledge of and contacts in the European business environment.

He is a past Chairman of the Marketing Institute of Ireland’s southern region. He is also a past Chairman of a trade body representing exporting North American manufacturers.
