Esther Hammelburg has been a lecturer at the School of Design and Communication of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences since 2007. She teaches courses in media and culture, media literacy, cultural history and philosophy. Before that she worked on various projects within the cultural and media field, ranging from television documentaries to live events.
Esther Hammelburg holds a Master's degree in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam. During her studies she specialized in media and citizenship.

Kultuurhuis Bosch is a cultural center in Arnhem. The aim of this project is to create a platform for diverse forms of culture, and (political) discussion, as well as providing a social meeting point. After it opened, on the 3rd of October 2003, I was mainly occupied with PR, general management and coordination of volunteers. This was an unpayed position.
