Estefi Martinez’s Summary
I am an interdisciplinary artist interested in new media art and digital compositing. My current techniques include 3D computer animation (Maya and Motionbuilder), photo-collage, digital illustration and photography (Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Painter).
I am interested in the first pre-production stages of storytelling for media (concept art for movies and story-boarding) and teaching.
Most of my recent work deals with the creation of meanings through opposition of real and unreal images, collision of realities and simulation, leading to a discourse about the rely of society in new technologies and the hyper-real.
I have also 3 years of experience as a journalist (radio, TV and photojournalism). I maintain an interest for info-graphics.
Fluently in English and Spanish. Proficient in German and French.
