History and Context:

I started my professional career as a successful Investment Banker based in Israel where I focussed on enabling entrepreneurs to raise the capital required to turn their dreams into reality. I found myself increasingly drawn to the operational side of building companies and in 1998 took the leap and joined the founding team behind the creation of the hi-tech wire manufacturer, Barzelan, where I was responsible for all commercial, marketing and global sales activities.

In 2000, sensing the power of the internet to transform traditional business processes, I founded and became CEO of what was to become a leading hosted supply chain collaboration company, Supply Chain Connect (www.supplychainconnect.com). The company went on to survive the dot com implosion and I drove a flexible strategy focused on execution, raising the required capital and leading the company through its product evolution, it's 2003 Buy-Out and finally its successful 2005 acquisition by US-based ChemConnect (www.chemconnect.com). The company had offices in the United States and Europe and counted amongst its more than 250 customers Corning, General Cable, Pirelli, Mondi Packaging, Dow Chemical, Alcoa and DuPont.

In 2006 I launched my new venture, called Quick Bridge, which is an innovative consumer finance proposition. More about that as we launch in the coming months.
