Accessability and adaptive technology have been a great interest of mine the last 10-15 years. I used to work with people with special needs for 8 years (special school, housing, employment) always with my private interest in computing and ICT beside. Then I started to study some OOP programming at University of Uppsala to gain some useful skills to be able to work full time with my interest in how modern technology can help and compensate disabilities. Before I finnished my studies I started at Gewa in 2001. And since 2004 I have been working full time with ReadSpeaker sales in Sweden. Since 2007 I have been responsible for ReadSpeaker sales in the Nordic Countries.
Accessibility issues and adaptive technology. Understanding of the user groups and the special needs of people with cognitive disabilities. Also great knowledge of Web 2.0 and the social web.

I started as a Sales representative. Outside Sweden the name of the company is ReadSpeaker Scandinavia. Since July 2007 I am the GM for the company. But since January 2008 we've merged the activities from the companies Phoneticom AB, Tilltek and ReadSpeaker into one unit. The people working in VoiceCorp are the same people that have developed ReadSpeaker and has provided the hosting, maintanence, support och development of the ReadSpeaker product the last 8 years.

Gewa sells Technical aids for people with disabilities. They have their own productions (IR recievers/transmitters) but they also import communication tools and adaptive technologies from other manufacturers. I worked with sales mainly within Sweden, but also some export within Europe.
