Erin McKenna Nowak received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a focus on graphic design and printmaking from Alfred University in 1995. Working in New York City, Chicago and Providence, RI, Erin has been everything from a children’s book designer to the art director of several medical magazines. In 2004 Erin started Bride Design, a company that creates unique, handmade wedding stationery and accessories reflecting the personal style and romance of each individual couple she works with.
In the summer of 2004 Erin met Jennifer Comfort, owner and sugar artist at She Takes The Cake. Jen introduced the fabulous idea of an edible invitation to Erin and suddenly the Invitastion™ was born! The paper and pen to Jen's butter and sugar, Erin designs the stunning invites that these cookies deliver to your guests.
