I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Expert Resume Writer and the President of Professional Resume Services http://exclusive-executive-resumes.com.

I write resumes and cover letters for mid-to-senior level professionals, executives, and c-level executives for just about every industry. Samples of my work can be seen in 8 different best selling career books. Every year I entered, I was nominated for the "T.O.R.I" awards (Toast Of the Resume Industry), chosen out of hundreds of sample resumes and dozens of certified resume writers.

I've never met a client "situation" I didn't like. From too many jobs, to career changes, to a disgruntled former employer, you name it and I'm up to the challenge.

My writing is somewhat aggressive-- direct and to-the-point. I work in collaboration with my clients to discover and showcase their brands -- the unique value they bring to the position. Creating a brand is what helps the client's resume stand apart from the rest of the stack.

It makes my day when my clients say, "WOW!! Is this really me? I'd hire me!"

I establish easy and collaborative relationships with clients. I poke, prod and ask, ask, ask to uncover more tidbits of information. I remain very conscious of what the client wants to get across. To me, that is the key element in a client's satisfaction. Satisfaction is what keeps my clients coming back and what encourages them to refer me to others.

I strive to stay very current on what is new and what the latest trends are. Fresh and current are extremely important to your resume's success. I like to create a "story" for readers, so it piques their interest and makes them want to read on.

  Perform all business development, marketing/advertising, and communication via email and newsletters. Collaborate with clients on branding, job search, interviewing techniques and industry trends. Suggest career assessments when needed. Formulate strategy, create format and style, and devise content. Follow up on clients’ job search progress. Maintain a blog and frequently contribute to several online e-zines. Conduct résumé writing workshops for corporate layoffs.

  Began resume writing career at this federally funded job search and assistance center. Case managed and facilitated the “Work First!” (formerly Welfare-to-Work) program in Northeast Oakland county. Provided clients with employability training including role-play, interviewing techniques, résumé writing, networking, application forms, job search, empowerment guidance, and career assessment. Knowledgeable of state and federal employment regulations and funding.
  
  KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
  • Piloted the wildly successful “Dress to Impress” clothing closet for low-income men and women. Networked with local businesses and community leaders to donate appropriate business attire.
