As managing editor, I work to tie together the PR, editorial work, and development of books and author platforms. I'm happiest finding curious readers, talented writers, and the communities that support them. I'm an unabashed publishing and book geek.
Publishing trends; all things literary; swimming; writing (natch); yoga; the best place for baklava in Astoria; William Blake and the Romantic Poets; the art of finding an empty table at the Hungarian Pastry Shop on the UWS; world music; various crafty pursuits; lunchtime jazz at Lincoln Center; speaking passable but still hilarious-to-natives Czech; book clubs and publishing hobnobbing; talking about teaching; tracking down my family's New York roots; unrequited passion for Hugo and Flaubert; using-as-many-pots-as-possible cooking; studying XML over a double espresso.
