My recent venture is Gravytrain, a marketing firm which in essence provides two main services for our clients:
1) Sales Lead Generation: We leverage our skills in marketing and advertising to find individuals in your business area that need your products and services. We then connect you or your sales team with those individuals for you to convert and close the sale.
2) Online / Internet Presence Management: We handle website design and management, customer marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising campaigns, copy and content generation and more to ensure that whenever someone wants to find your business online, they find it, and your current customers are always reminded that you are there.

Before MindField Group, I spent 5 years working with the Entrepreneurs' Organization - http://www.eonetwork.org. EO is a peer-networking organization of over 7,000 entrepreneurs across the globe. No hired guns, no marketing guys, and no solicitation of any kind.
Of my 5 years there, the most recent 2 were managing the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards program.
