Eric Yaverbaum co-founded 21 year old Jericho Communications and served as President from 1985 until it's merger in 2006 with LIME public relations and promotions. At the time, Jericho was ranked nationally as the 11th best agency in the country to work for. A hands-on manager and strategist, he is regularly called upon by the nation’s most prominent chief executive officers and presidents for his counsel on all aspects of strategic planning, media relations and crisis preparedness.

He is a regular on the lecture circuit, speaking to professional organizations and universities across the country. He also is a frequent talk show guest on national and regional television and radio programs, including CBS This Morning, The Today Show, CNN, Larry King Live, Fox and Friends and has been a weekly panelist on the Strategy Room on Fox the past year. He co-authored the best-selling book I’ll Get Back to You (McGraw Hill 1998). Yaverbaum is also the author of Public Relations Kit For Dummies (Wiley Books,Feb 2001) published followed by his third book, Leadership Secrets of the World’s Most Successful CEOs (Dearborn, March 2004). Eric completed the second edition of Public Relations for Dummies in March of 2006. His fifth book was Everything Leadership (Adams, May 2008). Yaverbaum is currently co-authoring Life's Little College Admissions Insights with his 17 year old daughter (Morgan James) to be published in December 2009.

Eric was an active member of the highly selective Young President’s Organization, where he was the Chapter Chairman in NYC. Eric’s widely acclaimed “Walk A Mile in My Shoes” campaign helped push increased spending on stem cell research through the house and led to his being named one of the the heroes of public relations industry by industry bible, PR Week. His educational environmental website and the Tappening water bottles sold there were touted as one of the hottest and trendiest products of 2008 by Good Morning America.
