- Wrote scripts and worked sound board for "Health Quest," a public access television show broadcast to all Garden City Comcast subscribers.
- Photographed special events. Prepared images for print and Internet publishing.
- Coordinated four blood drives a year, which earned the hospital "Platinum Donor" status from the American Red Cross Southeastern Blood Services Region.

- Served as a communication and media contact for the “Blow the Whistle on Asthma” fundraising walk, which saw a 240 percent increase in revenue from the previous year.
- Served as primary communication contact and coordinator for the “Lakeshore Loop” cycling event, one of the American Lung Association of Michigan’s longest-running annual fundraisers.
- Designed and helped facilitate the production of several promotional items for a tuberculosis information Web site, which were distributed to more than 10,000 health professionals throughout Michigan.
- Met and collaborated with members of the community to institute “Asthma 101” health-awareness program in the Lansing region.
- Designed and produced the Michigan Thoracic Society’s newsletter, Pulmonary Perspectives, which was distributed to more than 1,000 members.
- Appeared in interviews on Lansing and Grand Rapids radio stations to promote fundraising events.
