My current position offers the professional flexibility to use and enhance many of the skills I've acquired throughout my career path. I bring over 10 years of professional experience in Social/Human Services in areas including: Non-Profit Leadership, Mental Health, Homelessness, Vocational Rehabilitation, Residential Youth, Developmental Disabilities, Education At-Risk Students including positions of direct service, database administration, and executive leadership.
In addition, as a Professional Resume Writer at Orange County Resume Services, I get to 'practice what I preach' in assisting professionals in various industries capture their value on paper through the resume.
A Washington State native, Eric received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Whitworth College in 1994. While at Whitworth, Eric played tennis, basketball, club volleyball, and sang in the college choirs. He has a wonderful family with 3 children, two dogs, a lizard, and an amazing wife.
His career path includes extensive experience in the human/social services assisting a wide range of individuals to achieve vocational, educational, and personal goals. While the Southern California Area Manager at Good Shepherd Communities, Eric developed key leadership, recruitment, and interviewing skills that he incorporates into his workshops and individual appointments for students, classes, and other groups on campus. Eric's speciality is resume, interviewing, and job search preparation.
Eric was recently appointed as Board Member of the California Placement Association and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office Statewide Advisory Committee for Work-Based Learning and Employment Services (COSAC)
