Network Engineer and Information Assurance architect
Tucson, Arizona Area
I am experienced in the creation of secure information technology solutions that cover a range of platforms and architectures.
I am looking for an opportunity where I can utilize all of my talents and to be challenged on a daily basis. I enjoy facing a difficult problem or developing a solution that can increase the value received from a solution. I strongly believe Information Technology solutions should "get out of the way" and allow people to be more productive and make their lives easier.
In my experience I have learned that the best IT solutions are like puzzle pieces. They work best when they are tightly integrated together.

-Information assurance & security experience

Served as one of two administrators tasked with the continued support and operation of local Tucson ISP DakotaCom.Net. Because of the number of subscribers to the ISP and the wide scope of services offered, I had the opportunity to gain experience in a broad range of services we provided, while also serving as the highest and last tier of technical support for customer facing issues.
In the time I was at Dakota, I was selected as Employee of the Month twice, and was promoted to Senior Network Administrator after 6 months in my position.
