At Fehrman Tool & Die we design & manufacture high quality plastic injection molds, prototype molds, punch and trim dies, and perform all types of custom machining.

I manage day to day operations and oversee all projects. I am responsible for customer care and sales and project estimating. I oversee engineering and perform part and tool design as well as CAM and communicate with all staff and suppliers.
I am fluent with the following CAD/CAM softwares: Cimatron E & IT, Cadkey, Surfcam, I-DEAS Master Series, & Mastercam.

I am responsible for managing the day to day engineering & manufacturing operations of Fehrman Tool & Die.
I was responsible for design concepts, preliminary designs, and final designs. I designed complex and involved plastic injection mold assemblies, die cast die assemblies, and punch/trim die assemblies.
I managed other engineers on projects as well as coordinated projects with shop floor foremen and tool makers.
I handle developing customer relationships, sales, and customer care. I estimate all projects and jobs for the customer including design, labor, and material, and delivery estimates. I communicate with the customer regarding designs and design approval. I perform part design as well as tooling design, and oversee all design projects.
I create some CAM toolpaths for tooling, as well as project scheduling & tracking. I communicate project goals and intent all relevant engineering and tool making staff. s
I provide follow up technical support with the customer after tool delivery and sampling.
I also manage the operations of 2 smaller sister companies within Fehrman Tool & Die (Fehrman knives & American Tomahawk Co.)
During my tenure at Fehrman Tool I have successfully overseen 3 major CAD software platform changes, and have been trained and trained others in 6 CAD/CAM platforms. I have initiated and oversaw our company being the cover story in Modern Machine Shop magazine and being featured as a "customer success story" in Cimatrons publications and website. I have also been instrumental in contacting and developing new customer relationships in the automotive, appliances, electronics, medical, and consumer products industries. I was also responsible for created two profitable compaby sub-divisions.
