Erica Campbell has experience across multiple industries including automotive, real estate, heavy equipment, travel, sports and entertainment. Campbell joined Dominion Enterprises in August '04 as the Marketing Coordinator for TruckTraderOnline.com & EquipmentTraderOnline.com.
Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to Marketing Manager to RentJillsHouse.com & RJHResorts.com, the vacation rentals portals in April '05. In this role, Campbell was responsible for managing the SEM and SEO efforts, participation in large-scale corporate events & created budgets and business proposals.
After serving in this position, she was promoted to Marketing Manager of For Rent Media Solutions in May '06. In this position, she develops, executes, optimizes & analyzes a public relations/social media strategic plan across multiple channels including blogs, social networks, video sharing sites, and other conversational media. She spends a great deal of time building relationships with social media influencers, bloggers and new consumer business to generate awareness of clients and products. Campbell is also responsible for managing PR and internal marketing communications campaigns.
Campbell conducts Web Ex's for customers as well as training for employees nationwide. Campbell has also presented topics such as SEO & Social Media at the CHPA Conference, Hampton Roads AMA Event, ODU AMA, The Virginian Pilot Leadership Team, & the VSBDC Professional Development Meeting. Campbell has also recently been appointed to Vice President of Social Media on the Board of the Hampton Roads Chapter American Marketing Association.
Prior to joining Dominion Enterprises, Campbell graduated Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in '04 with a Sports Management degree with an emphasis on Sports Marketing and Promotions & a minor in Marketing. She played on the women’s Division 1 soccer team & interned as a Marketing Assistant for Global Spectrum.
