The Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) is one of the AAAA’s longest-running and most-praised annual training programs, developed in association with local colleges or universities and sponsored by many AAAA councils.
The IAAS puts young, promising agency professionals into a real-life marketing environment and challenges them to apply their best thinking and efforts to deliver an integrated plan and creative solution for a discerning client.
IAAS programs are comprehensive evening courses, approximately 13 to 16 weeks long, designed for agency professionals with one to four years of experience. Students attend lectures each week and are required, through teamwork, to develop a total advertising program in their "mini-agencies" for a given product or service. Teams compete by "presenting" to the "client."
