My working life started when I won two first awards for two country promoted Web contests (Fausto Sartori Contests - Milan).
After some small application development (web & stand-alone), I started to work for Sky & Mediaset television as a real-time video editor.
There I developed by my own Web and mobile platform (called JOB Organizer) with the purpose to improve the process workflows and to simplify employees administration with timetable and calendars.
My employers recognized its potential and decided to buy it, giving me the opportunity to start my own company: EIMTech (Engineered Interactive Media Technologies).
I worked then for several Web agencies (Carta e Matita S.r.l., Kettydo S.r.l., BusyBee S.r.l. and RMG Connect / J. W. Thompson S.p.a) until the last one (RMG Connect) made me a great offer to work just for them as technical leader and architect of their new digital department.
For all the projects, I set up the architecture, designed the core, and all the C#+SQL / PHP+MySQL back-end and any front-end development (rich interfaces in Flash / AJAX). Some of them included Flex 2 / 3 interfaces for services administration.
At the same time (September 2006 - June 2007), I spent a day a week teaching Flash design and development (basic & advanced courses) in IED, an European Design Institute: I love teaching and I had an excellent relations with my students. Many of them continued to work with me, some of them started to work under my leadership.
In September 2007 I came to Ireland, where I worked 6 months for the Web 2.0 social network Ammado before joining Microsoft as a consultant, where I am currently leading a great team for core services development.
In my spare time I love working on web projects. Latest ones are: www.inmacchinainsieme.com (featured on national television: http://bit.ly/moJpG) and the social network www.agglom.com, who achieved worldwide recognition: http://bit.ly/110Urk).
