I performed independent research under the supervision of A. Prof. Ricky Johnstone and Dr. Chris Clarke. I used biochemical and immunological techniques to examine the role of JAK1 and JAK2 in STAT1-independent interferon signaling pathway. I also studied the effect of DNA damage on the formation of IFI16 foci in the nucleus.
