Robert Monster’s Summary
In 2007, I formed Monster Venture Partners, a private equity fund focused on early stage investments with an emphasis on (1) marketing technology and services, (2) health care services and technology, and (3) global social networks. In addition to backing some very bright entrepreneurs, and driving synergies between them, I am also incubating a number of startups.
Previously Founder, Chairman and CEO of Global Market Insite (GMI), and now continuing as Board Director of fast-growing global provider of market research solutions with customers in 60 countries and a global panel with coverage in 200 countries and territories. Raised $48 million in venture capital. Achieved profitability in 2002.
Before starting GMI, I was a Global Product Development manager at Procter & Gamble. Worked with some great people in Asia, Europe, and the America, managing new product launch initiatives for the Pampers brand. Left P&G in 1999 to start GMI.
Happily married to Jill, who is a Doctor of Naturopathic medicine. Jill is opening her first clinic on the Sammamish Plateau in September under the brand "NaturoMedica", together with 2 fellow graduates from Bastyr University.
Incurable optimist but otherwise in excellent health. Voracious reader. Varsity oarsman at Cornell. Involved in both secular and Christian philanthrophic initiatives with an emphasis on "promoting world peace through understanding".
