Leading a team of 12 Americorps volunteers in placements in the Portland area. Placements range from energy and resource conservation to school waste management, and from city governments to Portland public schools. I support the members through their Americorps requirements, offer resources and workshops for professional development, facilitate meetings and plan (and participate in) service events for the entire Northwest Service Academy (such as MLK day).
I will also be completing my own Community Action Project, tbd.

Care2.com is a social network and resource site for healthy lifestyle and non-profit causes, including the environment, animal welfare, human rights, gay rights, womens' rights, etc. Helped clients such as Sierra Club, UN Foundation, Environmental Defense, American Humane, The Wilderness Society, Greenpeace, Human Rights First, etc. achieve their online advocacy, activist recruitment and fund-raising goals.
Duties included much client management and interface, working with online tools for sending large HTML emails, tracking performance of online campaigns and assisting with recruitment and fundraising strategies.
