I am an Educational Activity Coordinator & Webmaster for the University of Rochester Medical Center, Office of Continuing Professional Education.
I am responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing continuing medical education activities accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education for physicians and health-care professionals. As a webmaster, I am responsible for creating, managing, and editing the CPE office websites and online registration for educational events.

I was the Lead Researcher & Developer for the Lab for Technological Literacy at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The LTL is supporting technological development and outreach initiatives focused on narrowing the digital divide locally & abroad.
In addition, I was an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Information Technology Department at RIT. I developed, implemented, and taught a new course in HFOSS development for the international OLPC efforts in collaboration with Sugar Labs and Fedora, focused on 4th grade level mathematic games and educational applications.

I was the developer and director of the Digital Ripple Program, resulting in the first free municipal WiFi mesh network created by students in the world. The Digital Ripple is an 100 hour job training course for youth, ages 14-20. The program teaches math, science, technology, literary arts, visual arts, and physical education while addressing all of the Developmental Assets of the Search Institute.

I was the Chief Operations Officer for a small educational company that I co-founded, to serve a need in the community, addressing the educational and digital divide.
Art for Everyone developed and implemented after school programing for the Rochester After School Academy, the Rochester City School District, and the City of Rochester. The programming varied from grades 4-12 and the content ranged from visual arts, technology, and business training.

I taught, managed, and assessed 500 students/year for a three year period to a socially, culturally, and economically diverse population. 100% of my student population is identified as urban, under-served, and at-risk youth. A large percentage of the students have learning and emotional disabilities. The district consists of a large international community where English is a second or third language. The Rochester City School District has the highest poverty rate in the state as well as highest rate of violent incidents in a school setting.
