Marketing and Communications, Frameline / San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival
San Francisco Bay Area
I have studied cross platform entertainment, marketing trends, and the intersecting lines of pop culture and consumer consumption across the American market since 1992. Through my work for multi-national corporations like Viacom and for smaller non-profit arts agencies, I have developed an integrated view of the types of media and content that can appeal to a wide range of cross cultural and identity specific demographics. I also know how to juggle deadlines, keep a team on track and ensure that all company materials stay on brand and are executed with the highest quality standards. Plus, I play a mean accordion :).
I work online promoting, sourcing, discovering and spreading the gospel of film, social networks and community. I have a keen eye for hot viral and traditional content and have a historical knowledge of pop culture and how those past influences feed into future trends. I am a solid and fast writer able to deliver copy that is variant in tone depending on the business needs and the intended demographic.
