Eloy Rodrigues’s Summary
In recent years I have devoted much of my work to the development of digital libraries, education and training of librarians and library users and the study of the scholarly communication system. In 2003, I lead the project to create RepositoriUM – the institutional repository of Minho University , and I directed this service ever since.
Other importante focus of my current activity is promoting and advocating Open Access and institutional repositories in Portugal and in the Portuguese speaking world. I participate in several national and european projects related with repositories.
