Ellen Leanse has guided companies in building market share and delivering value to customers for 25 years. With an emphasis on grassroots marketing, online media, social networks and custom application development, Ellen brings experience in strategic marketing, business development, user experience and interactive branding to the businesses she serves.
As Apple's first User Evangelist, Ellen pioneered outreach to online communities and brought measurable efficiencies to Apple's sales, product and support interactions. Her work shortened product development and marketing cycles, allowed Apple to quickly identify new opportunities, and engaged as ambassadors of the Apple brand.
Ellen has worked with Ribbit.com, Jajah, Oracle, Apple, NeXT, MCI, Samsung, CKS Partners, Acer, Bigstep.com, Menlo School and other clients to measurably increase acquisition, engagement and retention. She advises a small portfolio of early-stage Internet startups and several organizations focused on economic development in East Africa.
Ellen is a frequent speaker, Webinar instructor, and seminar leader on topics including online and social marketing.
