Elizabeth Sayles’s Summary

I am an illustrator with a variety of clients, from children's books and toy manufacturers to financial advisers.

My work has appeared on book jackets and in other projects for clients including: American Girl, Sony/BMG Music, Delta Airlines, Lands’ End, Peaceable Kingdom Press, National Geographic...

I've illustrated more than 20 books for children, including:
"Mother's Song" by Ellin Greene.
"I Already Know I Love You" by Billy Crystal
"Not in the House, Newton" by Judith Heide Gililland
"Five Little Kittens" by Nancy Jewell
"The Goldfish Yawned" I wrote as well as illustrated and is a winner of the Bank Street College Best Children's Book, 2005. (Henry Holt)

My artwork has been on display at the Society of Illustrators in NYC, The New York Public Library, The Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio, Every Picture Tells a Story gallery in Los Angeles and Chemers Gallery in Orange County, CA.

I am also adjunct professor of Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and of Illustration & Cartooning at SUNY/Rockland.
