Grew major client's negative ROI to an average 5:1 return on spend across 4 sites in less than a year on Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask. Additional search engines tested as well, positive (2:1) results for Amazon and ABC.

Promoted from Specialist to Guru to Manager of PPC Team at Portent since 2006. Oversees day to day operations of PPC management, employees and overall consistency of the program, while maintaining my own client load, affiliate marketing management for Portent and currently under going training in Search Engine Optimization, with some dabbling in Project Management and herding interns.

    Manage budgets and performance of multiple client accounts and multiple campaigns for each client across several different search engines. Averages a 4:1 ROI for each client. Assist in researching alternative outlets for same clients to expand their reach in social networking and other paid search. Lead PPC Team in structure, accountability and education. Started as Specialist (2006) with no previous experience in PPC, grew to Guru status (2007) and promoted from Guru to Manager (July 2008). Regular contributor to company blog for pay per click optimization.

    Additionally now working in affiliate marketing, SEO, driving traffic, media buys and responsible for content additions and promotion to created blogs.

    Recently promoted to Director of Search Marketing (Oct 2009) of the PPC, SEO, Copy and Link Building teams. More fancy descriptions to come.
