I'm a writer... it's what I am as much as what I do. Lord Byron, the 19th century poet said it best: "If I don't write to empty my mind, I go mad."
Since 2002, I've been writing about video games (primarily PC gaming). In that time I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge regarding the industry itself, and cultivated professional contacts and connections into personal friendships.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to write about beer. I was living in Colorado -- "The Napa Valley of the Beer World" -- so I thought it was a perfect match. I've been writing about the craft beer industry -- this liquid culture of ours -- for a while now. During that time I've met an incredible array of individuals who share the common bond of beer... and it's only reinforced my belief that this elixir of the gods has quite literally changed the entire course of human history.
So what could these seemingly disparate topics possibly have in common? A lot actually. But for me... it's all about the passion. "Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion." -- Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel
1. I don't fear a blank page and I can write at the drop of a hat. Sit me down and watch me write. Like I said... it's what I do.
2. I always have an idea.

Beer Tap TV is more than a drinking channel. So many people are stuck swigging banquet beers (Miller, Bud, Coors, etc.) without knowing the beery goodness of craft beers, or worse... are too afraid to look like one of those damn hippie Colorado beer snobs. Well, we’re not hippies, and we’re not beer snobs, but we are from Colorado and we want to change the way you think about the beer you drink.
I help create the Beer Tap TV shows and what goes into them (as well as website content).
