Edwyn Chan was born in Hong Kong in 1981. He attended The Stern School od Business at New York University and co-majored in Management and International Business. It was also at NYU that got him into the internet business as it was in the summer after freshman year that he started his first internet venture with a fellow college friend.
Their first project was an internet Chinese celebrity stock exchange website which they subsequently sold off to an entertainment and media conglomerate in Hong Kong before graduation. Since graduation, Edwyn has worked in an entertainment and media conglomerate in Hong Kong.
In 2005, Edwyn started his internet company, Concept Idea Technologies, while studying for his MBA. CIT was in the business of Web 2.0 consulting and was best known for its blog research project blogku media.
After completing his MBA from the joint Tsinghua University and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, International MBA program, Edwyn joined NBA China and was responsible for their Digital Media strategy and implementation. Edwyn is now currently at TOM Group’s newly formed Sports Division and is working on the to be relaunched Sharkwave and the operation of NBA.com/China

Concept Idea Technologies (CIT)' s vision is to enable internet users to have an alternative method to search engines for finding information online. This is because CIT believes that internet information search is not a one-size-fits -all market and therefore search engines can not completely fulfill all the different search demands of internet users.
CIT's core business is Web 2.0 consulting and has consulted Chengdu Economic Daily (Ranked 10th Newspaper in China) and Sichuan China Mobile
Concept Idea Techology owns the first and better blog media network in china: Blogku Media.
