Edwyn Chan was born in Hong Kong in 1981. He attended The Stern Business School at New York University and co-majored in Management and International Business. It was also NYU that got him into the internet business as it was in the summer after freshman year that he started his first internet venture with a fellow college friend.
Their first project was an internet Chinese celebrity stock exchange website which they subsequently sold off to an entertainment and media conglomerate in Hong Kong before graduation. Since graduation, Edwyn has worked in an entertainment and media conglomerate in Hong Kong and at Citigroup's corporate bank.
Edwyn is now part of the the media distribution team at NBA China, focusing on research and strategy for TV, internet and mobile

Concept Idea Technologies (CIT)' s vision is to enable internet users to have an alternative method to search engines for finding information online.
