Web & Digital Marketing co-ordinator at University of Central Lancashire Students' Union
Preston, United Kingdom
I manage a number of web projects to improve the Students' Union's web presence. I lead on interpreting metrics and using this to plan and deliver joined up online/offline campaigns.
My goal over the next 12 months are to develop the new Union website to make it a portal for all UCLan prospective, current and past students. Our ultimate aim is to extend the life-span of the website from three years for a year, to around six years.
I am hoping to grow traffic to the website, improve the usage of online by all departments in the Union - to improve business processes and also in promoting their work and the opportunities available to students.
I enjoy planning and implementing new projects, so this role has allowed me to take a 360 degrees view of how the Union currently uses the web and design and implement a new digital strategy for the Union.
content promotion, content distribution via online channels, social networks, web business processes, online content creation, video and audio editing, content management
