Problem: Create a web/media, pr/communications presence for a health district that previously had none.
Solution: Developed a media rich web site which included layout and design, creating a unique one-way blog, RSS feeds, power point, flash, videos, games, journal, and newsletter. Developed a weekly newsletter prior to the creation of the web site for the community. Authored articles and motivational stories. Sought after speaker for local, national, and international events.
Problem: Operate a community based privately funded family learning center complete with computer technology, education, and media.
Solution: Responsible for complete training, education, and IT support for New Family Learning Center.
Problem: Educate/advocate for socio-economic, disabled, and disadvantaged families for health, legal, social, educational, housing, and economic concerns.
Solution: Strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of needs versus the availability of services. Identify gaps and create solutions. Created consumer forums/activities to encourage involvement and activism.
Problem: Develop strategy that increases retail hardware business.
Solution: In store merchandizing/advertising, and display design and implementation. Evaluate inventory and P/L statements to assess proper relationship. Developed theft reduction program.
