Creative musician & composer, entrepreneur in digital & social media, offshore/outsourcing consultant
Greater Boston Area
I am passionate about music/audio, video, multimedia & the internet. My other passion is for positive social change via music, the arts, & cultural understanding. Culture & music are ideal vehicles to do this via peaceful, life-affirming, harmonious means. I have owned an audio & video project studio since the early 1990s. My previous corporate work has given me the experience & maturity needed to perform in settings with deadlines & budgets.
I enjoy being a hands-on leader with extensive product & strategic marketing, business, & technical program/project management experience. I enjoy doing creative & strategic work the most. My additional experience includes software quality assurance, hardware design, contract negotiations, budget creation, training & team building, especially outsourced/offshore teams, including internationalization & localization teams. I have the ability to lead multiple teams simultaneously to meet & surpass cost, quality & project schedule objectives. Motivating & systematically increasing the responsibilities of those working with & for me are the keys.
I am also multi-cultural, born in Lima, Peru, raised in Puerto Rico & the USA, as well as multi-language: English & Spanish. It is this multi-cultural perspective that has proven very effective in helping others excel under my management, independent of their backgrounds or ethnicity. This also allows me the opportunity to forge genuine connections with those I work with as people with real interests, dreams & goals, no matter where they reside in the globe. I would like to join a progressive, creative, fun & forward-thinking organization that needs my extensive business & technical expertise to achieve their goals, wherever the resources are in the world. I am willing to consider relocation or traveling for the right opportunity, including outside of the USA. I have dual citizenships: USA citizen (with valid USA passport), Peruvian citizen (with Peruvian passport in process).
